Clare Rankine Presents: IN THE ROOM, three nights of new comedy

Clare Rankine Presents: IN THE ROOM, three nights of new comedy at the Queen Victoria Women's Centre.

Maryellen George CALL ME ME.  9/10/11 December, 7:00PM-8:00PM.

CALL ME ME performed by Maryellen George (The Comedy Store LA, Flappers, semi-finalist 2021 Melbourne International Comedy Festival RAW competition). Fiercely feminist and always silly stand-up, the kind of coddling comedy you always needed. Come here, sweet baby, as Maryellen swaddles you in stories of pigeon toes, mansplaining, a cute lil bit of catharsis, and gaytimes.

Aurélia St Clair I SAID WHAT I SAID.  9/10/11 December, 8:30PM-9:30PM.

I SAID WHAT I SAID performed by Aurélia St Clair (Malthouse Besen Family playwright, Stand Up! Recipient, Audible Comedy Up Late) is a one woman comedy show tackling share house living, probiotics for dogs, white people with spray tans, and dating as a Libra. If you like comedy that punches up, and/or are queer, hot and addicted to iced coffee, this show is for you.

BITS & PIECES GALA. 9/10/11 December, 10:00PM-11:00PM.

Featuring headliners Jude Perl (9th December), Alex Ward (10th December) A Special Guest (11th December) along with a stellar line-up of comedians Aretha Brown, Annie Louey, Jordan Barr, Vidya Rajan, Maryellen George, Bianka Ismailovski, Sashi Perera, Annie Lumsden, Lena Moon, Prue Blake, Daisy Webb, Urvi Majumdar, Diana Nguyen, Aurélia St Clair, Lou Wall, Maddy Weeks and Hannah Arbuthnott.

Doors open 30 minutes before shows.

The Bar, located in the Foyer, opens 30 minutes before shows.
