This series of collage artworks is designed to celebrate girlish femininity. The artist believes that many people feel forced to abandon this aesthetic on their journey to adulthood to avoid being perceived as frivolous. This is due to us living in a patriarchal, capitalist society that trivialises femininity and discourages playfulness in adults. The exhibition hopes to instil a sense of nostalgia in the viewers and encourage them to reconnect to their childlike sense of glee and silliness.
