International Women's Day at QVWC - Panel Talk - Invest in Women Makes Economic Sense

Kick off your IWD at QVWC.

On Monday 4 March the Centre will host an exciting lineup of experts discussing this year’s United Nations IWD theme – Invest in Women!

Hosted by well-known journalist Wendy Tuohy, our panel will lead a lively discussion on why it makes economic sense to invest in women, highlighting the key issues women face in achieving economic equity.

Wendy will be joined by Wil Stracke (Victorian Trades Hall Council); Nadia Mattiazzo (Women with Disabilities Victoria), Emma Dawson (Per Capita), and Jenny Davidson (Council of Single Mothers and their Children) discussing what needs to change to get us closer to world where economic equality exists and why this is so important. The panel discussion will be followed by a light networking lunch.
