Addressing workplace sexual harassment is critical, with 1 in 3 Australians experiencing it in the last 5 years. If you have been sexually harassed at work, have your say through the Australian Human Rights Commission’s #SpeakingfromExperience project.
#Speaking from Experience is a landmark project creating workplace sexual harassment reform. The AHRC wants to hear from culturally and racially marginalised workers who have been sexually harassed at work on what they think needs to change to make workplaces safer.
On 11 and 13 June Dr Anna Cody, the Sex Discrimination Commissioner and Research, Advocacy and Policy Officer from Multicultural Centre for Women’s Health, will facilitate three sessions here at QVWC.
The information gathered will help create resources to make workplaces safer for everyone. You will receive a $120 gift voucher for attendance and there will be food and drinks. Limited spaces are available.
