The panel is based on our 2 recent books:

Violence Against Women in the Global South: Reporting  in the #MeToo era (Palgrave). 

Sexual Violence in the #MeToo Era  (Routledge).  

This panel examines how the media has reported on violence against women in the Global North and and the Global South and explores ways to improve that reporting.
